Post subject: Daphne Dateien Problem

Erst mal, alles funzt prima, doch habe ich doppelte Dateien für die Spiele von den original Digital Leisure DVDs, Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair 2, Space Ace und Thayer's Quest. Heisst folgendes, in meinem Thayer's Quest Folder z.B. befinden sich folgende Dateien:
tq.dat
tq.m2v
tq.m2v.bf
tq.m2v.md5
tq.ogg
tq.ogg.bf
tq.offf.md5
tq.txt
wobei die tq.m2v und tq.m2v.bf, und auch die tq.ogg und tq.ogg.bf Dateien gleich gross sind. Ich dachte bei der bf Datei handele es sich um einen Backup, jedoch wennn ich die Dateien lösche, und das Spiel starten möchte, lädt Daphne wieder die Dateien von der DVD runter und speichert sie dann wieder so ab.
Das Problem bei der Sache ist,. das diese Dateien ziemlich gross sind, und viel Platz auf der Festplatte einnehmen. Kennt jemand das Problem? |

Soweit ich sehe sind die Files mit der Extension .bf in jedem Torrent enthalten. Ich würd mir darum also keine Sorgen machen. Ansonsten hat das offizielle Forum auch keine Antwort: https://www.daphne-emu.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2387

What you are actually downloading

Why does DaphneLoader seem to hide the fact that the DVDs are used for decryption?
DaphneLoader is designed to require the user to know as little information as possible in order to run the game. Therefore, all details that aren't required are hidden from the user in order to keep things simple. Those who want to learn more will search documentation like this in order to satisfy their curiosity.
So wirds wohl sein... die .bf sind dann anscheinend der DVD-Content nochmal verschlüsselt, die DVD wird nur zur Autorisierung verwendet. |
