So if you want to test.. with lots of help from bartek.. here is a first version of UAE4ALL for S60v3.
http://www.anotherguest.se/uae4all_s60v3.sisx
And no you can´t adjust the volume..
What to do?
a) Install
b) In the folder c:datauae4allkickstarts or uae4allkickstarts you should at least place on kickstart rom file. kick13.rom, kick20.rom or kick31.rom.
Recommendation is that you run this on a 300mhz + s60v3 devices, video wise its not very well optimized, due to the
SDL backend, which is more general than fast.
It is also quite memory hungry. For 64 mb devices you should select 0,5 mb chip memory and only one diskdrive. Currently the chip memory setting is not saved so that has to be fixed.
When emulating use ´*´ to get back to menu, use ´#´ to change input method between virtual keybaord, joystick, and mouse emulation.
My
SDL backend has also support for different input methods, press green key and then 7 for multitap, 8 for cursor mode, 9 to emulate a joystick. Currently only
SDL joystick mode is supported when emulating
amiga joystick.
Also you can use a bluetooth mouse with this emulator. In order to do so, you need to install the bt mouse support package from
http://koti.mbnet.fi/hinkka/Download.html, also it has a dependency on P.I.PS 1.2.0 to work properly. P.I.P.S. 1.3.0 will not work.
Touch devices are not really supported right now, 5800 is too slow, and also touch events are not really mapped to the emulated surface.
There are a couple of extra setting under misc which does n´t have any effect, those are use hw scaling, and control config.
Of course not everything is not really tested at all, so there are lots of stuff to update, but its a start.
Thanks for Bartekxyz for the initiative and the very nice graphics, thanks to Notaz for optmizing and integrating Cyclone into UAE4ALL, thanks to the rest of the
GP2x porting efforts and lastly but not least.. thanks to Chui for creating this awesome emulator with bits and pieces from UAE in the first place. And .. well.. can´t forget UAE either.. that started it all.
