Post subject: Newest CVS laggy sound  PostPosted: May 20, 2005 - 08:07 PM

I seem to be getting laggy sound in your newest CVS compile. Sad Silly me...I didn't bother to backup the previous cvs build I was using and now I'm stuck with laggy sound issues. If I replace the cvs with the official release it fixes it so I assume it has something to do with the newest compile.

Embarassed

I also seem to have another issue when I hit alt-enter (to get out of full screen and enter windowed mode) and it remains in a low resolution in windows Shocked

You don't happen to keep an archive of old builds do you? The previous build worked better for me but I've lost it! Sad

I assume you're talking about dosbox

The ALT-enter problem was mentioned in the dosbox-forum too. I used some more compiler optimizations for the last build. I'll update the build on sunday, maybe with different optimizations. I'm not sure with the optimizations broke dosbox or if dosbox cvs itself is partially broken.

I've a local archive of the old builds - maybe I'll change the page, to offer the old builds too. Maybe a good idea to keep the old files - no one knows how broken the CVS is, when I update my builds.

So please wait till sunday, and test the new builds then.

I hope I don't sound overly anxious to you, take your time. Smile I use your builds regularly and just thought I would let you know about the issues. Thanks for replying so quickly!

After all, I'm not even sure where to being to compile Dosbox so I can't be picky. Cool Good luck with the compiling.
