Hi there, thanks for your offer. Got some questions for you:
1) How does this stuff work? I am familiar with Kaillera, but never connected via VPN. Only found UAE+K clients.
2) Why do you assume that it was more secure?
Besides, this site is running its own Kailleraserver. |

Hi there!
>bimjim: in english/french please
>Ragnarok:
Use of this VPN is more reliable than Kaillera servers for Amiga games playing (lower ping and little downtimes).
It should be more secure because we have the control on who enters on the network, and we can easily block anyone who do not respect the rules.
It has powefull chat features, and allows user to transfer files very easily whithout having to use mail for example.
It's a good way to bypass kaillera servers 's reliability problems.
I hope this answers your question |

Well, actually we dont have any server downtimes and the latency is excellent. In case the stuff crashes, a script will restart it. (XTale is a wise guy )
But my first question remains (and that is what Tormentor asked, too) - how do you get this stuff running, please give us some details about the client involved and the procedure in the first place.
And just out of interest: May I ask in which other forums you are looking for players? |

Thanks bimjim, really thanks for your these words
I'm happy to see there are some real fans which will make me doing somethin better and better
For your question about three or four players, my answer is yes, yes, and definitely yes! This project is compatible with (theoretical) sixteen simultaneous players! I've already tested many games with 2 simultaneous players (all above are really reliable (no desync) even with very bad internet connections! Online playing between France and China was possible possible & tested ok)
I know people don't have many many time for games , so i created this big project.
My games are :
-playable immediatly, no need to lose time with configuration, all frustrating and complex settings are already set by myself . Controls are in most case ALWAYS the same for all games (really easy to handle), so you are ready to play when you are connected!
-intuitive: just one icon to launch, and it's ALWAYS located on your desktop. A specific documentation is provided at the same place to inform you if there are specific informations to know related to this game.
So, you see there are many reasons to join AmigaOnline network with Hamachi, and it's a good way to share our passion for this wonderfull computer!
The moonstone game is now ready for online playing, i must admit i love this game too |

It's just a theorical number, but 8 players should be possible (for some football games for example, with parallel joysticks emulation). The problem is to find these players!! It seems already difficult to find one or two, it is even more difficult to make them available to play at the same time....
There are many 4 players games: bomberman, tanx 'n stuff, tankkk, moonstone, sneech, etc...
I think it's possible, but 2 players could already be a good thing to determine what games should be played by 4 players
And 4 players games implies that everyone has time for big tournaments, big challenges... In real life, it is impossible People have always something else to do
Many 2 players games sessions should be (in my own opinion, according to -my experience, and to -amiga audience) better, and more "realistic" |

>can you chat during the game?
Yes! No very easy to chat during intensive action games (like bomberman), but possible and advised!
>can people observe the game without playing?
Yes too! They could use a client version of the software, without having to interact with the game. Chat would be enabled of course for these "observers" to encourage other players. |
