The Wormux team is happy to release Wormux 0.8.3!

Production cycle for this version was not the usual one (stabilization of development version before official release). In fact, Wormux 0.8.3 corresponds to version 0.8.2 enhanced with some backports of the modifications done on the development version.

Here is the changelog:

* New skins with new animations
* New sounds thanks to Bebelious
* Better team menu editor
* New game interface
* Small AI enhancements
* Fix crash when leaving options menu during a game
* Fix crash when checking for new version without internet connection
* Fix some small graphical bugs

This version is only a small advertising what is going to be done in the developement version (new physical engine, partial refactoring of network code to support dedicated headless server). Unfortunately, the Wormux core team is more and more small and its members have less time to contribute to Wormux.

Next version will focus on network with fix of bugs causing the interruption of network games and dedicated servers.

A static binary for Linux and a Windows installer will be available in the next few days. We no not have any official maintainer for Mac OS X, contributions are welcome.
