Der Arcade-Emulator MAME wurde auf Version 0.98u4 aktualisiert.
Auch diesesmal nehme ich mir nicht die Zeit die Bilder zu den neuen Spielen zu suchen/verlinken, ihr könnt die Namen allerdings im erweiterten Text lesen. ;)

Der Download scheint sich zu lohnen, denn Osman sieht aus wie Strider und Charlie Ninja sieht auch nach einem guten Jump&Runs aus, man siehe unten, den Rest hab ich leider nicht gefunden, was sind die? :[

Mittlerweile macht es wirklich Sinn sich MAME selbst zu kompilieren, alle paar Tage eine neue MAME-Version runterzuladen geht übel auf den Traffic. ,)

Ich hab erst am Abend vor dem Update auf u4, die Version u3 mit dem zusätzlichen WIP Source von Haze kompiliert.

Ziemlich schlechtes Timing... Vom MAMEdev Team, versteht sich. Wink

Seitdem Aaron Giles die Updates macht kann man fasst die Uhr stellen, das diese kurz vor oder am WE kommen.

P. S.: Das Osman so aussieht wie Strider, könnte dran liegen das beide Spiele vom gleichen Programmiererteam sind...

P. S. S.: Freue mich schon auf die nächsten Updates (STV-Driver: Die Hard, VF-Kids und Deco32-Driver)

Nächste Mame Version ist scheinbar laut Haze schon im Anmarsch

"u4 is the last update before 0.99 anyway. I think Aaron will be releasing 0.99 within
the next 24 hours, probably the the older ARM files anyway. (as the usual policy is
last u release+ critical fixes only = new release version) "

ST-V? Wo steht was dazu? Ich hoffe außerdem, daß irgendwann nochmal was zum Thema Microprose 3D-Hardware zu hören ist... muß schauen, ob F15 die Version ist, die ich vor 14 Jahren mal im Fernsehen gesehen habe...

Nette Bilder aber derzeit dürfte da kein PC die 60Fps schaffen! Spiele mit einem Hitachi SH-2 Chip schafft mein Pentium-M auf 2,6Ghz gerade so auf 60Fps, bei den 2 parallel SH-2 vom ST-V kann man das also schon vergessen! Testet mal Cotton 2 oder Purikura Daisakusen da sieht man das gut! :/
